Find the right stacking chair

Weddings, banquets, worship or a restaurant: a few quick questions about how you'll use them, and we'll suggest three stacking chairs that fit, with today's price for your quantity.

Question 1

What kind of place are you?

So we only ask what matters for you.

Chiavari, cross back or banquet?

Chiavari chairs are the wedding and gala standard: light, elegant, and dressed with a seat cushion. Resin chiavari wipe clean and hold up to rental use; wood and aluminum come in gold, silver and natural finishes.

Cross back chairs bring a farmhouse look to barns, vineyards and rustic weddings. Banquet chairs, with padded seats and backs, are made for hotel ballrooms, conferences and long dinners.

Churches, schools and meeting rooms

Church chairs have thick padded seats, link into rows, and come with book or communion racks. Shell and sled-base chairs suit classrooms and meeting rooms, and many stack higher than banquet chairs.

Storage and handling

Most stacking chairs stack 6 to 10 high; some stack higher. A stacking chair dolly moves a full stack at a time.

Questions people ask

What is the difference between chiavari and cross back chairs?
Chiavari chairs are slim, formal ballroom and wedding chairs, usually used with a seat cushion. Cross back chairs are sturdier wood or resin chairs with an X-shaped back, for a rustic or farmhouse look.
Do chiavari chairs come with cushions?
Some do and some don't: each chair's page says, and the Advisor's reasons mention it. Cushions are also sold separately in several colors.
What chairs are best for a church?
Padded church chairs that link into rows, with book or communion racks if you need them. If volunteers set up, look at the weight; for long services, a thicker seat.
Can my quote include cushions and a dolly?
Yes. When you ask for a quote, the Advisor offers the dollies and accessories that fit the chair you picked, so one quote covers the order. An EventStable rep checks it and emails it within 48 hours. The quote is free, and nothing is charged until you accept it.
