Folding or stacking?
Folding chairs fold flat, so they store in the least space and set up fast in rows: ceremonies, services, graduations and shows.
Stacking chairs are sturdier and usually more comfortable, and they look like dining chairs: chiavari and cross back for weddings, banquet chairs for ballrooms and conferences, church chairs for worship.
Match the chair to the event
For dinners and long events, choose a padded seat or a chair made for a cushion. For outdoor ceremonies, choose resin or plastic rated for outdoor use.
If your fire marshal requires linked rows, choose a chair that gangs together; several folding and church chairs do.
